Clair Parker and Elise Rohde-Hanssen are writer/directors living and working in Huddersfield. 



Clair trained at Bretton Hall, University of Leeds, graduating with an MA in 2007. She has extensive experience in live performance having worked as a Stage Manager, Facilitator and Director. Her script 'Order Number 58762' is currently being produced by the BBC in Media City, Salford as part of 'Turn Up the Talent'. 



Elise trained at Atlantic Acting School in New York. She is Associate Artist for Freedom Studios in Bradford who developed and produced her play 'Paper Queen' which was performed in Halifax, Bradford and at The Bush Theatre in London in 2010.

Elise is currently developing her new play 'Whispers' (www.whispersplay.co.uk) which will hopefully tour later in 2013.

Both Clair and Elise seek to work with new and existing local talent, showcasing the breadth of creativity across all art forms in Kirklees.
